The 3rd Annual Downtown Sonora Sidewalk Sale, is happening Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Shoppers are invited to spend the day strolling historic Downtown Sonora while discovering special offers, sidewalk bargains, unique merchandise, food and drinks, and all that our locally owned businesses have to offer.
The Sidewalk Sale is also a great opportunity for downtown merchants to clear out seasonal inventory and make room for new merchandise as they prepare for the 2026 Christmas shopping season. For shoppers, that means a chance to find great deals while supporting local businesses before the busy holiday season begins.
From clothing, gifts and home décor to toys, outdoor gear, food, beverages and specialty items, there will be something for everyone.

Each participating business will have its own specials, merchandise or offerings, making it worth exploring the entire downtown and seeing what you discover along the way.
“Events like the Downtown Sonora Sidewalk Sale give people another reason to come downtown, explore our shops and restaurants, and support the locally owned businesses that make Sonora special,” said Katie Dunn, Executive Director of the Sonora Chamber of Commerce. “It’s also a great opportunity for our merchants to clear out inventory, make room for their holiday merchandise and get ready for the Christmas shopping season. We’re excited to have more than 30 businesses participating this year and encourage everyone to make a day of it!
