The Columbia Gold Diggers are bringing basketball, community spirit, and a great cause together on Saturday, November 14, 2026, with a special Double-Header Basketball Games event at Columbia Elementary School.
The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Columbia Elementary School, 22540 Parrots Ferry Road, Columbia, CA 95310.
The afternoon will feature two exciting matchups: Game One: Columbia Gold Diggers vs. Mid-Cal Blue Star Moms Game Two: Columbia Gold Diggers vs. Horses of Warriors, an organization providing equine therapy for veterans and first responders.
Admission to the event is “Pay What You Will,” giving community members an opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of basketball while contributing to a meaningful local cause. All proceeds generated from the event will be donated to Horses of Warriors, helping support its mission of providing equine therapy to veterans and first responders. “We want this to be more than just a basketball game,” said Jane Bell, Co-Captain of the Columbia Gold Diggers. “It’s an opportunity for our community to come together, have some fun, cheer loudly, and make a real difference for people who have served and helped protect our communities.” The Columbia Gold Diggers are inviting families, friends, basketball fans, veterans, first responders, and community members throughout the area to attend and show their support.
For more information, please contact the Columbia Gold Diggers or follow them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ColumbiaGoldDiggers for upcoming events and updates.
Come support. Cheer loud. Make a difference!
