A pair of motorcycle cops in Modesto collided around 4pm Sunday while avoiding a pedestrian.
Apparently an elderly lady in a crosswalk caused a minivan to stop suddenly.
The group of motorcycle officers were behind the minivan, swerved, and one bike bumped the rear of another.
The crash closed Yosemite Boulevard for about 30 minutes and reportedly happened as the group was returning to headquarters after a day of training.
Officers Bill Ryan and Rick Applegate received minor to moderate injuries and were taken to local hospitals.
