In Loving Memory of Sally LeAnne McColloch

Sally LeAnne McColloch was born on August 29, 1964, in Arcata, California, to William and Lavonne Nichols. In 1968, her family moved to Sonora, California, where she spent the next 46 years building a life filled with love, family, friendships, and treasured memories. She later moved to Kamiah, Idaho, where she spent the remainder of her life.
Sally graduated from Sonora Elementary School in 1978 and Sonora High School in 1982. That same year, she met the love of her life, Mark McColloch. Their love grew into a lifelong partnership, and they were married in 1984. Together, they built a beautiful family and welcomed four children: Louis, Haley, Amanda, and Ricky.
Sally worked for numerous years in the coding and billing office at the hospital, where she dedicated herself to her work. But above all else, her greatest passion and purpose in life was her family.
Sally was an amazing wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and grandmother. She valued her family above everything else, and the love she gave so freely was the foundation of the life she built. She had a smile that could light up any room and a warmth that made the people around her feel loved. Her presence brought comfort, happiness, and connection, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Sally’s greatest legacy is the family she leaves behind and the countless memories that will continue to be shared for generations. She will be deeply missed, but the love she gave will never fade.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mark McColloch; her children and their spouses, Louis (Jennifer) McColloch, Haley (Jeremiah) Grove, Amanda (Brent) Hess, and Ricky (Lily) McColloch; and her 13 beloved grandchildren: Colt, Kaden, Ella, William, Ethan, Lane, Lucas, Bode, Case, Ricky, Evalyn, Reed, and LeAnna. She is also survived by her sister, Jean Amant, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lavonne Nichols, and her parents-in-law, James and Dona McColloch.
A service celebrating Sally’s life will be held on November 2, 2026, at DeFord Funeral Home in Grangeville, Idaho at 11am.
Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
