Nonnative Fish Will Be Poisoned Near Tahoe

The California Department of Fish and Game can seek a permit to poison nonnative fish from a stream south of Lake Tahoe after the Forest Service rejected an appeal by environmentalists. The department plans to use a poison to kill nonnative fish and to help a rare trout.
