Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Courts

A convicted murderer who took a 14-year-old Michigan girl to California has pleaded guilty to federal charges.
Terry Drake pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of transporting a minor across state lines with intent to engage in sexual activity, one count each of using the Internet to induce or coerce a minor into sexual activity and two firearms counts.
In exchange for his plea, state charges in Michigan and California are being dropped. If the judge accepts his plea agreement, the 56-year-old Drake would be sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Drake befriended 14-year-old Lindsey Ryan at church. She left her home with Drake on March 1st.
Police apprehended the pair 23 days later near the Nevada border.
