Copperopolis Man Arrested On DUI Charges

A Copperopolis man was arrested on D.U.I. charges yesterday after crashing his pickup into a small tree. The Highway Patrol says 62 year old John Barret was intoxicated and allowed his truck to run off of Kiva Drive, just east of Little John Road. Barret was arrested at Mark Twain Hospital after being treated for minor injuries.
