New Supervisors Sworn-In Monday

Monday will see two new Tuolumne County Supervisors take their seats on the Board of Supervisors.
District 3 Supervisor-elect Jim Peterson and District 2 Supervisor-elect Paolo Maffei will be sworn in during a brief noontime ceremony in the Supervisor´s Chambers on South Green Street in Downtown Sonora.
Other county officials elected or re-elected in November will also be sworn-in, including the District Attorney, Sheriff, Superintendent of Schools and County treasurer-tax collector and two judges as well.
The board´s new chairman and vice chair will also be picked at that time.
