Lawrence Livermore Lab Cited For Radiation Violation

Lawrence Livermore Laboratory has been tentatively cited for a radiation violation that allowed a worker to receive twice the annual allowed dose. Law officials say the worker was not using forceps or lead-lined gloves to purify the radioactive element californium when he was exposed in June.
