Calaveras Murder Trial Delayed

Delays for a double murder trial in Calaveras County.
Sixty-five year-old Peter Jordan Chiesa was scheduled to stand trial January 12 for the June 2002 slayings of 43-year-old Leslie Hannameyer and 41-year-old Annette Truman. The Wallace man is charged with murdering two of his neighbors last year in a dispute over a road easement. The trial has been postponed to Feb. 9.
Chiesa is being held in Calaveras County jail without bail.
