Accident Sends Woman To U-C Davis

An unidentified woman is being treated for major injuries at UC Davis Medical Center, after a head-on collision Monday night on Highway 108.
Highway Patrol officers say the woman´s ford Fiesta swerved into the wrong lane just west of North Sunshine Road shortly after 9:30 p.m., and struck an oncoming tractor-trailer. The driver of the truck was unhurt. Investigators say the woman was not wearing a seatbelt, and was ejected from her car.
