CHP Reports…

A Lemoore man died in a traffic accident on State Road 198 near Jameson Avenue in Coalinga. The man was traveling along this stretch of road around 6:00 Friday morning. He attempted to pass a series of vehicles in foggy weather when he hit his brakes hard and lost control of the car. He hit 2 other cars as he slid across the road. The cars came to a rest with the unidentified man´s car bursting into flames. The other two people involved were taken to Hanford Community Hospital with minor injuries. The unknown person´s identity is being held until his family can be notified.
