Blame it on another squirrel Monday afternoon. P G & E says a little critter shorted out a Sonora P G & E substation, killing the power to more than 9,000 area homes and businesses
P G & E officials say the 3-hour outage affected most of East Sonora, Columbia and Tuolumne City.
Three weeks ago, many of those same customers were in the dark when a different squirrel shorted out the same Sonora substation.
