Maffei, Peterson Take Supervisors Race Lead

In the most hotly-contested contest in Tuolumne County, Supervisor District 2 challenger Paolo Maffei has taken a sizable lead over incumbent Don Ratzlaff for the District 2 Supervisor´s seat at this hour.
With 50 of the 75 precincts reporting, Maffei had 61.4 percent of the vote to Ratzlaff´s 38.6 percent.
The race was the most expensive in the county this election, with the two candidates raising and spending more than $30,000 between them.
In the District 3 supervisor race, Jim Peterson is taking the lead over Jerry Morrow, 64.2 percent to Morrow´s 35.8 percent.
