Boy Shot While Riding In Car

Sacramento police say a 13-year-old boy is in very critical condition after he was shot in the head Tuesday afternoon while he was riding in his mother´s car west bound on Highway 50. A white Chevy Suburban pulled up and at least one of the three occupants shot into the boy´s vehicle about 2:30 yesterday afternoon. A police spokesman says they don´t know a motive. They detained three suspects from a similar vehicle this afternoon after responding to a report of a burglary in progress. They´re investigating if the three also are involved in the boy´s shooting.
