It will cost more for contractors and developers to build new homes and businesses in Copperpolis.
Calaveras County supervisors approved by a 3-to-2 vote this week a controversial road-impact fee that adds $1,271 to the cost of building a home in the Reeds Turnpike benefit basin area.
Some residents of the area aren´t happy with the new ordinance, saying they will get double taxed.
