Calmer winds and cooler temperatures today are helping firefighters corral the 14,500 acre Martis fire west
of Reno. More than 22-hundred firefighters are still working the lines and managed to keep the fire from spreading over the weekend despite strong winds. The
fire is 60 percent contained and officials hope to have to fully surrounded by Saturday.
