State Earthquake Agency Paid For Legal Advice

California´s earthquake insurance agency hired a lawyer for personnel advice six days before the mysterious resignation of CEO David Knowles.
According to records obtained today, the agency will keep paying Knowles´ 160 thousand dollar annual salary next year.
The records show the California Earthquake Authority agreed to pay up to 425 dollars per hour for the legal advice. They don´t elaborate on the agency´s personnel issues.
