Prepare To Celebrate Restaurant Month

Visit California, the state’s primary tourism marketing organization has proclaimed January as California Restaurant Month. They’re encouraging restaurants throughout the state to create special packages and promotions to tie into this theme and are using it on their web site (www.visitCalifornia.com) and in their marketing materials.

In that vein, the Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau has proclaimed January 20-26 as Tuolumne County Restaurant Week to take part in the celebration. All member restaurants are welcome to join. We’ve asked each participating restaurant to create a fixed price 3-course meal for $25 per person so visitors and residents alike can have an affordable experience at some of our finest restaurants. It’s a great way to sample places you’ve been curious about or visit old favorites and take advantage of Tuolumne County Restaurant Week.

In recent years, we’ve added some wonderful new restaurants and today, offer a wide range of dining options so we felt it was time to focus on all they have to offer visitors and residents alike.

The bureau would welcome additional restaurants to participate as well. I encourage all readers…If you have a favorite restaurant that’s not on the list ask them to contact the Bureau so they can be included.
