17th Annual Stuff the Bus Event is hosted by Jamestown Family Resource Center, Jamestown California Highway Patrol, The Blue Zone Project and Central Sierra Child Support Agency. The event is on Wednesday, August 3rd from 8-3:00 pm, the Jamestown School District bus will be located in the Walmart parking lot between PetSmart and Walmart curbside pick up. Stuff the Bus is an annual event to help improve school readiness for economically disadvantaged youth in Tuolumne County. Every year hundreds of children from Tuolumne County start school without supplies and clothes they need for the start of a new school year so, by donating gift cards, school supplies such as; backpacks, binders, ink pens, composition notebooks, pencils, glue, glue sticks, binder paper, crayons, markers and calculators we are giving children the opportunity to have a successful school year! Last year 275 students in Tuolumne County received backpacks full of school supplies and other helpful items! If you would like to donate we are accepting in-person donations of cash, checks or gift cards at the event or you can donate at the Jamestown Family Resource Center. The items will be distributed to students in need starting August 11th at the Jamestown Family Resource Center 10540 7th Street, Jamestown (209) 984-4704. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
