Karen Roselle Evelyn Rathburn, Born January 29, 1962 i Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2022 at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. She was the third child born to her parents, Jeanne and Ronald Donner. They lived a modest life in Wisconsin, where she spent all her childhood years. When she became an adult, she moved to California and started a new life for herself. This included marrying her love of her life, Frank, and having the daughter she had always prayed for and planned, Roni. She has two grandchildren, Harper and Emmilyn, with whom she loved very much. Karen really knew how to be creative and fun. She was such an eclectic woman with so much fire for life. She had an absolute love for everything, no exceptions. Because of this, she was loved by so many! She had empathy and just wanted to help everyone she knew. She was someone to count on, as she always answered the phone and was available no matter the hour. Everyone that came in contact with her, just fell in love with her humanity. She had a way about her that was intriguing and loving. You just wanted to be near her all the time.
She was known for her love of collecting unusual items, such as her exotic bug collection, or decorating with such perfection! She had a love for fashion and beauty, and became a cosmetologist. She later moved up to Sonora and held various positions, to include Railtown, Watch Program, and helped at the Church’s thrift store. She was an active member in the church and spent her whole life loving God and blessing others. She just knew how to bring the fun into everything and that beauty and genuine smile, will be greatly missed by all! Karen gained her angel wings at 60 years old, on July 6, 2022. She was taken too soon and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of spending even moments with her.
