High School Football Postseason Set To Begin
Sonora, CA — The Sonora High Wildcats capped the regular season with a 48-13 win over the Bret Harte Bullfrogs on Friday night, and now move onto a playoff matchup against Modesto Christian this Thursday evening at home.
Sonora is 10-0 while Modesto Christian is 5-5. Hear the game live on Star 92.7 and streamed on myMotherLode.com. Bret Harte High is also moving onto the playoffs after finishing the regular season 6-4. The Bullfrogs will play Orestimba this Thursday at 7pm on the road in Newman. Calaveras High, 8-2, will host a home playoff game on Friday at 7pm against Marysville. Oakdale, also 8-2, will host McNair in the playoffs this Thursday at 7pm.
Summerville High missed out on the playoffs this year after finishing the regular season 4-6.
