All the garbage is flowing into New Melones. There’s tons of garbage The animal’s food and water sources are being polluted. There are forever chemicals in the forest.
This part of the forest offers swimming, camping, gold mining, hiking, atv/ dirtbikes riding, and hunting. Unfortunately many people that come through here DO NOT pick up their trash. They come out and dump as well. Weekly there are a few of us picking up garbage and making dump runs. We get NO help from the forestry service, Toulumne county, or any non profits. Please help us with money for bags, gloves, and dump fees. All of this garbage is flowing into New Melones if we are not picking it up. Forever chemicals are now in the forest. We are committed to taking care of this please help us with money or time picking up.
