James, Jesse

Jesse Orlin James, born November 27, 1961 of French Camp, California passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at his home in Sonora, California. He attended Lincoln High School and graduated in 1979; Stockton Coco’s Restaurant, Cook; Cecil’s Security patrol officer/guard; Stockton Cable Company; Pisano’s Pizza in Stockton, Lodi Lake Fireworks, July 4th; Dodge Ridge Rental Shop 1982, Modesto Glen Wilson Trucking, Modesto Black Diamond Trucking.

Member of Tuolumne Band of MeWuk Indians. Jesse “Bebo” liked barbeques, family gatherings and family reunions. He was a Christian man and believed in God. Involved in church and Native American Sweat Houses. He liked snow skiing, outdoor activities, camping and going to Pinecrest Lake. He also liked music and he liked to sing songs. He was always helping people when they were in need.

Cremation is planned and inurnment is planned in Carter’s Cemetery in Tuolumne, California
