Cal Alumni members and friends will learn about the Blue Zones Project at a Tuesday, January 9 luncheon meeting at My Garden Cafe in East Sonora. Many of us have New Year’s resolutions to live a healthier life. The Blue Zones Project offers tips to make the healthy choice the easy choice. A representative of the Blue Zones Project will provide information on how small changes can help us achieve a healthier life goal. Those planning to attend the 11:30 am no-host luncheon meeting are asked to email or call Jan Jorn-Baird at 209-532-1106 or janjornbaird@gmail.com. The California Alumni Club of Tuolumne County is open to graduates of all University of California campuses and other interested persons. Membership fee is $20 per household. Upcoming events include a wine tasting at Jazz Cellars Winery in Murphys (owned by Bob Smith, a UC Davis alumnus) on Sunday, March 24, a presentation by Tuolumne County District Attorney Cassandra Jenecke at a date to be determined and Burgers at the Lair at Cal’s summer camp at Pinecrest on Sunday, September 1.
