In the absence of this year’s Peaceful Valley Farmers Market, the Tuolumne County Resource Conservation District opened the new Standard Farmers Market. The market will be open every Friday 4-8 pm from May through October in the same location as the old market: The Game Room parking lot off Peaceful Valley Rd. in East Sonora.
July 12 the market was closed due to extreme heat. The market plans to return July 19.
The market will host a variety of vendors selling produce, artisanal goods, food, drinks, and will also include live music and cooking demonstrations. Interested vendors are encouraged to apply at www.tcrcd.org or call 209-642-8304 for more information.
