The Third Annual Safe Living and Elder Empowerment Symposium will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall. This free event for elders and disabled adults includes lunch, transportation, information regarding local services, free vouchers from Longson Document & Paper Shredding, and more. In addition, Elvis Impersonator, Rob Ely, will entertain one and all!
This event will feature the following speakers and topics:
• Bryan Adcox, Wells Fargo Regional Branch Manager, and Cody Ritts, Diestel Turkey Ranch Network and System
Administrator, M.S. Cybersecurity and Data Assurance, who will speak about fraud and scams;
• Catherine Driver will talk about Home Health & Hospice services and the differences between the two; and
• Jill Engle, Mother Lode Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, will share information regarding Ombudsman services
The Safe Living and Elder Empowerment Symposium is brought to you by the Tuolumne County District Attorney’s Office, Tuolumne County Victim Witness Assistance Center, Tuolumne County Adult Protective Services, the Tuolumne Band of Me Wuk Indian’s Elders’ Program and Black Oak Casino Resort, Longson Document & Paper Shredding, Adventist Health Home Care Services, and The Mother Lode Office of Catholic Charites. Please join us to learn ways to protect yourself, enjoy a delicious lunch, meet new friends, and enjoy stepping back in time as Roby Ely entertains and delights one and all as Elvis Presley.
