Join us for an evening of storytelling with historian, writer, actor and musician Mark Stoltenberg as he takes us through the adventure and struggles of the first wagon train arriving in Tuolumne County around 1852. The program begins at 6PM at the Tuolumne County Library Wednesday July 10th. Besides being the creator of the Tuolumne Fathers and Sons CD he was also a member of the Sonora Pass Wagon Train Committee. The wagon train formed in 1996 and its first trek across the Sonora Pass in 1997. The trip from Bridgeport to Twain Harte was a total of 110 miles.
