The Senate has finally done something right with the Armed Services Committee’s bipartisan approval of an increase in defense spending. With the U.S. meeting aggression by Russia, Iran and China on three fronts: Ukraine, the Mid-East and Tawain, it is imperative that we replenish our stocks of armaments as well as rebuild our naval and air capabilities to meet these threats to global stability.
