Let’s find some early spring migrants and maybe those two guys will still be hanging around: an American Pipet bobbing his tail or a Rough-legged Hawk fattening up for his migration to Alaska. Meet at the parking lot adjacent to the Angels Creek Access Road off Whittle Rd. (off Highway 49 near Calaveras County fairgrounds). The group can either walk from there towards the marina or head to the Angels Boat Ramp and walk the Angels Creek arm. Bring water and a lunch, dress for the weather. Rain will cancel.
