Tickets on sale now for the Odd Fellows Burns Supper! This amazing dinner is a celebration of Scottish culture and Scottish poet Robert Burns. For $77.50 per person guests can expect to have a traditional Scottish dinner, listen to bagpipes, hear some Burns’ works, and listen to some heartfelt toasts and speeches made to make one laugh and cry. There will be a silent auction and a no-host bar. This is a special event–dark suit or Highland attire is appropriate (cocktail dresses, dark suits, and Scottish flair, and kilts are encouraged).
All proceeds generated from the event will go to the Sonora Odd Fellows Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides services and financial assistance to support Tuolumne County foster youth, the sick, and the elderly. Attendance is capped, so interested people should get their tickets early!
Tickets are $77.50 available on the Events page of the main Sonora Odd Fellows website:www.ioofsonora.org (payment via credit card or PayPal), or people can call (209) 536-8939 to reserve tickets and then provide a check or cash within 10 days.
