COME DRESSED THE PART!
When ghosts go on a rampage, only four men can save the world. Fired from university research jobs, Drs. Venkman (Murray), Stantz (Aykroyd) and Spengler (Ramis) set up shop as “Ghostbusters,” hiring Zeddemore (Hudson) and together ridding Manhattan of bizzare apparitions. But even the spirit exterminators are severly tested when beautiful Dana Barrett (Weaver) and her nerdy neighbor Louis Tully (Moranis) become possessed by demons living in their building. Soon every spook in the city is loose and our heroes face their supreme challenge at a roof-top demonic shrine. If you want your spirits raised, who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!
The Sonora Opera Hall doors open at 6:00 pm, Come dressed the part and participate in the costume contest with prizes for adults and kids. The contest is at 6:30 and the movie starts at 7:00 pm. Admission is just $5 and includes free popcorn and the first 50 people get a goodie bag. There will be a no host bar serving adult beverages and things for the kids too! Bring your own chair or use one of our new soft chairs donated by the Sonora Chamber to the Opera Hall. Children are welcome and encouraged at this showing!
