Burson, CA — Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office reports two women were caught with the loot in their hands after they targeted the home of an ex-husband.

Deputies were called to a home on the 200 block of Herbert Court in Burson Thursday at 9 in the morning to check out a report of trespassing. When they arrived they found Rebecca Boriolo (41) of Burson and Tamara Sutton (45) of San Andreas, outside the home. Deputies say Boriolo was holding a paper bag with several cuts of frozen meat in it. The women told the deputies they went into the home through and unlocked garage door.

The home belongs to Boriolo’s ex-husband. He came to the house and told the deputies that neither suspect was allowed at the home. He also told them the bag of meat came from his freezer. Deputies say he then checked out his home and also found the two had rummaged through dresser drawers in his bedroom and had taken a bottle of booze.
Both suspect denied having taken anything from the home. They say they only went into the house to use the restroom. Boriolo and Sutton were arrested and charged with burglary.

Sheriff’s Officials say a third person with the women who was walking away from the home when deputies arrived was also arrested, but not for burglary. Gregory Everett (32) of Stockton was arrested on a misdemeanor drug warrant.
