Planning Commission Discusses Habitat For Humanity
Columbia, CA– The Columbia Area Planning Commission will meet next month to discuss an application by Habitat For Humanity.
Tuolumne County Community Development Director Bev Shane says Habitat For Humanity purchased a project that was approved on Damin Road and Parrotts Ferry Road in Columbia for the construction of 36 single family townhomes.
“Because Habitat For Humanity works with lower income households, they’d like to downsize some of the units and change the design of them,” said Shane. “The commission will be considering a modification of fence construction and the design of the townhouses themselves. That is the only thing the commission will consider, just the design and not the project itself which has already been approved.”
The Columbia Area Planning Commission will meet Thursday, February 10th at 7:00 pm at Eagle Cottage in Columbia State Park.
