Pair Injured In Sonora Accident

Sonora, CA — Minor injuries were reported from a rollover accident yesterday morning on Highway 49 near Dossi Way.
42-year-old Royal Garrison of Sonora was turning from Dossi Way onto Highway 49. The CHP reports that Garrison failed to yield the right of way to a southbound Highway 49 vehicle driven by 79-year-old Robert Hill of Columbia. Hill swerved to the left and hit the side of Garrison’s Nissan pickup truck.
Hill’s 2007 Cadillac CTS rolled over and came to a rest on its roof in the southbound lane of Highway 49. Hill and his passenger, 77-year-old Jacqueline Hill, were taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.
