Bus Shelters For Calaveras County
San Andreas, CA – The Calaveras County Supervisors will vote Tuesday whether to award a contract for the construction of multiple bus shelters.
The Public Works Department was recently promised $87,500 in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding for the construction of a bus shelter in Arnold and three benches in the communities of Copperopolis and Mountain Ranch. Lemke Homes submitted the lowest bid to complete the work at $79,971. The leftover money would cover engineering costs associated with the project.
The Supervisors will also hear an update Tuesday on plans to clean-up the Mitchell Mill, which has been used by some residents as an illegal dumping site.
Tuesday’s meeting begins at 9am in the Government Center in San Andreas.
