Traffic Stop Arrest
San Andreas, CA — Two men were arrested in Calaveras County following an early morning traffic stop Friday.
A deputy with the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department pulled over the car at 1am on Hwy 12 near Lower Double Springs Road. During a search, officers found metal knuckles, hypodermic needles, and what appears to be methamphetamine and a methamphetamine smoking pipe.
The driver was 29-year-old Don-Alan-Atencio of San Andreas and the passenger was 36 year old Troy Matthew Gordillo of Fairfield. Both were booked into Calaveras County Jail.
Atencio was charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving without a license.
Gordillo was charged with possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic needle, giving false ID to an officer, violation of parole and other charges.
