Ceres Man Goes Missing While Boating On Lake Don Pedro

Sonora, Ca — A 20-year-old Ceres man went missing from a houseboat on Lake Don Pedro over the weekend, and the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Office is investigating his disappearance.
Edgar Delacruz was last seen at around 8:30pm Sunday when he was on the boat´s deck making a phone call. The Sheriff´s Office says there were large amounts of alcohol on the boat and many of the people on board had been drinking. The Sheriff´s Office boat patrol deputies are searching the lake for Delacruz using sonar equipment.
The area where Delacruz was last seen is referred to as the Schoolhouse Mooring Area, and the Sheriff´s Office says that it is conceivable that Delacruz was able to swim to shore or a nearby boat.
