Vegetation Fire On Hwy 4 Grows To 80 Acres

Copperopolis, Ca — Due to a vegetation fire near Pool Station Rd., Hwy 4 has been temporarily closed down to traffic in the area of the incident.
CHP Officer Jaime Castillo says that vehicles that are traveling on Hwy 4 from Stanislaus County will be diverted onto Pool Station Rd., and travelers from Angels Camp will likely be stopped at Appaloosa Dr. and forced to turn around.
CAL Fire Information Officer Lisa Williams says that the fire has grown to 80 acres. No structures are at risk.
