On Saturday, Nov. 2 the Tuolumne County Historical Society (TCHS) will present “When Shadows Whisper.” Pioneers buried in Tuolumne County’s cemeteries will do a visitation to our realm and tell their stories. Among the subjects are Tom Horn who died an excruciating death in the county jail, Belle Mooney for whom a road near Jamestown is named and Leanna Donner App, a survivor of the Donner party crossing the Sierra Nevada mountains. A limited number of ticket at $30 each are available from TCHS either at the Tuolumne County Museum at 158 Bradford St. or at the society’s website TCHistory.org.
