Third Suspect Arrested In Calaveras County Embezzlement Investigation

San Andreas, CA — Deputy Director of Operations and Maintenance Edwin Fredrick Hoag III is the lastest and the highest ranking official to be arrested to date in the continuing embezzlement investigation of Calaveras County property.
Hoag has been charged with destroying or concealing evidence in the investigation.
53 year old Vehicle Fleet Manager David Kent Sanders and 48 year old mechanic Lee Michael Rhodes were arrested earlier this month. The latter two posted bail immediately.
The investigation was initiated on a tip received by the Sheriff´s Department April 12th.
