Sonora Police Investigate Friday Night Live Theft

Sonora, CA — The Sonora Police Department is investigating a theft that took place Saturday evening during the Friday Night Live fashion show at the Elks Club.
Sometime between 8:45 and 9pm someone removed the cash box containing approximately $800 in cash and checks. Early Sunday afternoon the cash box was discovered on Shaws Flat Rd. near Shaws Flat School Rd. All the paper money had been removed.
