Three Injured In Hwy 120 Saturday Morning Accident
Jamestown, CA — Three valley residents suffered moderate injuries when they were involved in a late Saturday morning accident on Hwy 120 just west of J-59/ LaGrange Rd.
44 year old Ross K. Hughes of Modesto was westbound when he came to a complete stop on the right shoulder of the road. Hughes then proceeded to execute a U-turn directly into the path of an eastbound vehicle with three occupants. The second vehicle swerved to avoid a collision and hit a dirt embankment.
The driver, 53 year old Albert J. Silva of Ripon, along with his two passengers, 58 year old Betty Jo Loche of Ceres and 52 year old Michael Loche also of Ceres, suffered back and neck pain. They were removed from the scene by ambulance.
Hughes was uninjured.
