Developer Hesitates On City Requirements
Angels Camp, CA — A developer has pulled a 34 home project from consideration due to conditions put on it by Angels Camp city administrators.
The Cottage Park subdivision was to be considered by the Angels Camp Planning Commission Thursday.
Instead the developer, Stelte Construction, asked for a continuance. The project will now be heard on May 11.
Planning Director Kaye Simonson said the developer wanted more time to consider the conditions on the project. One of which was that they upgrade a portion of the city´s sewer main as mitigation.
The homes would be built in two phases on Kurt and Foothill Village Drive. To build the homes, Stelte needs a general plan and zoning amendment.
