Public Comment Opens On Tuscany Hills
Copperopolis, CA — A revised Environmental Impact Report is complete for a project that would bring hundreds more homes and another golf course to the Copperopolis area.
Tuscany Hills would take up 1,100 acres on the north shore of Lake Tulloch. It would bring 330 homes, a private golf course and marina.
The project also proposes setting aside 28 lots as open space.
An EIR was prepared in 2004 but some changes were made to the project, which required a revised look.
The public review period began April 11 and will end May 26.
The final EIR will be written after that and will include responses to comments received in 2004 and from this latest review.
The document can be seen at www.co.calaveras.ca.us. Comments should be sent to the Calaveras County Planning Department.
