Tuolumne County Commission On Aging Needs Members
Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Commission on Aging is looking for 10 new members.
The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors heard a presentation about the organization from Cathie Peacock at its meeting Tuesday.
Peacock says there are 10 vacancies in the commission and residents from districts three, four, and five are greatly needed.
The majority of the members must be age 60 or older; however Tuolumne County residents of any age are encouraged to get involved and attend the meetings.
The group meets the 2nd Monday of every month at 1:30pm at the Senior Center on Greenley Road.
Potential commissioners should be interested in the overall services and programs of seniors in the county, and must attend at least three meetings to qualify.
