Local Resident Walks For Breast Cancer Research

Sonora, CA –Angela Edwards is resting after a 39 mile breast cancer awareness walk.
The Avon Breast Cancer Walk in San Francisco raised over 5.4 million dollars for breast cancer research. Edwards, a Tuolumne County resident was able to raise over $2,000 toward the walk.
Cancer survivor and mother of Edwards, Deborah Beyersdorf, said it was an awesome experience to watch her daughter and other faces cross the finish line. She says thanks to all of the donations from residents of Tuolumne County, this was possible.
