Sam Alderman was nominated for his outstanding dedication and leadership as a senior at Sonora High School. A three-sport athlete all four years of high school, Alderman competes in football, basketball, and track and field. His mother, Regina Alderman shares her son demonstrates incredible commitment and work ethic.
On the football field, Alderman helped lead his team to two state championships and earned top honors as both the Trans-Valley League Offensive Lineman and the Trans-Valley League Defensive Lineman First Team. As a team captain, Alderman leads by example with toughness, discipline, and heart. His success across multiple sports and his leadership on and off the field will be put to use as he plans to attend UC Davis in the fall and join their football program as an offensive lineman.
