Catherine Jones, MD, received her medical degree from Michigan State University, completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn., and completed a clinical fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. While completing her fellowship, Dr. Jones also completed a master’s degree program, earning a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation. For her master’s degree, Dr. Jones focused on Phase I drug development and breast cancer treatment. She also researched disparities in health care and hopes to lessen the disparity gap in cancer care.
