Reiker Schultz, MD, is an internal medicine physician at Hillside Internal Medicine. Dr. Schultz comes from Cincinnati, Ohio, where he completed an internal medicine residency at The Jewish Hospital.
Dr. Schultz is a third generation physician. All three Schultzes, son, father and grandfather, graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine to become primary care physicians. Also remarkable, Dr. Schultz was celebrated as the 10,000th student to earn a medical degree from Loma Linda University, which saw its first medical graduates in 1914.
In his practice, Dr. Schultz has a particular interest in prevention and helping his patients use lifestyle methods to prevent and control chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, heart failure and obesity.
